I have always thought that the passive English learning methods are the best for the quick and deep learning of the language. Things like watching a movie without Spanish subtitles or if you prefer without them, playing games in English where the understanding is necessary to keep advancing in the game, reading a book or just trying to make a conversation in English are the best tools to learn.
On the other side, the grammar and rules are very important too, and that’s the reason because the website is very helpful, because it has the two methods mixed up.
One of the more important things in the learning process is the motivation, and the website accomplishes this requirement in a very good way.
I know right! good website to learn
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the methods used for teaching. After all English is useful if you constantly watch movies, read stuff or play games online, right? So if you are goint to try learning, it's best if it's easy and fun :D
ReplyDeletewow, we think almost the same, and you're right, from the perspective of grammar and "formal learning", that's the best example. (didn't you read my post before write this?... we say the same things hahaha)
ReplyDeleteI think the same, the site is a very powerfull tool to complete your grammar issues.
ReplyDeleteMotivation. This is key!
ReplyDeleteThat's Right!
DeleteThe methods mixed up is great, generally in others website you only learn about grammar, and the "real situations" like conversations, don't exist.
ReplyDeletethe slang section is pretty good too!
ReplyDeleteis funny, but the interface, too much information, need a more specific order
